Cookie Policy

1. Strictly necessary

These are needed for the site to work and don't require consent:

• authjs.session-token: keeps you signed in (up to 7 days).
• authjs.csrf-token, authjs.callback-url, authjs.state, authjs.pkce.code_verifier: sign-in security (for the session).
• NEXT_LOCALE: remembers your language (1 year).
• quotive:draft (localStorage): keeps your quote draft in your browser so it isn't lost when you reload the page.
• __ph_opt_in_out_…: remembers your analytics cookie choice so we don't ask again.

Payments happen on Stripe's checkout page, which uses its own cookies for fraud prevention under Stripe's privacy policy.

2. Analytics (only with your consent)

If you accept, PostHog (hosted in the EU) stores an identifier in your browser to recognise repeat visits and understand how Quotive is used:

• ph_…_posthog (cookie and localStorage): an anonymous browser and session identifier (up to 1 year).

If you decline, nothing is stored on your device for analytics. We still count visits anonymously, without cookies, using a hash calculated on PostHog's servers.

3. Managing your preferences

You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the essential ones, you won't be able to sign in.
