Terms of Service
Last updated: September 24, 2026
These terms govern your use of Quotive. By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to them. Please read them carefully.
1. Who we are
Quotive is operated by Jonathan Pereira, a sole trader based in Portugal, tax number [NIF missing], [address missing]. Contact: [contact email missing].
2. The service
Quotive is an online tool for creating project quotes. It's available in three forms:
- Free: the quote calculator, live preview and copying the quote text.
- Pro: a monthly or yearly subscription that includes watermark-free PDF export, premium templates, saved quotes, and the other features listed on the pricing page.
- Single quote: a one-off purchase of one watermark-free PDF, with no subscription.
We may improve, change or discontinue features. If a change significantly reduces what you're paying for, we'll tell you in advance and you can cancel.
3. Your account
You must be at least 18 and give accurate information. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.
4. Prices, payment and renewal
Prices are shown in euros on the pricing page. Any VAT that applies is shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Billing in your account. You keep Pro access until the end of the period you've already paid for and won't be charged again.
If we change the subscription price, we'll email you at least 30 days before your next renewal, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
5. Right of withdrawal (consumers)
If you're a consumer in the European Union, you can withdraw from a subscription within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason, by emailing us at the address above. If you asked to start using Pro immediately, you may be charged for the part of the period you've already used.
For a single-quote purchase (digital content supplied immediately), by downloading it within the 14-day period you expressly agree to immediate supply and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal.
These rights apply to consumers. If you use Quotive for your business or profession, they may not apply.
6. Your content
The quotes and data you enter are yours. You give us only the permission we need to store, process and display them to provide the service.
Quotive is a calculation and presentation tool. You're responsible for the prices, taxes, terms and other content of the quotes you send your clients. We don't give tax, legal or accounting advice, so always check the figures before sending.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Quotive for anything illegal or fraudulent, to impersonate another person or business, to try to access other users' data, or to overload, scrape or get around the technical or plan limits of the service.
8. Availability
We work to keep Quotive available, but we can't promise an uninterrupted or error-free service. There may be interruptions for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, lost clients or lost data, arising from your use of Quotive. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Ending the service
You can stop using Quotive and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing [contact email missing]. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and will tell you first where we can.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we'll tell you by email or on the site at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using Quotive after that date, you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
For consumer disputes, you can use an alternative dispute resolution body, such as CNIACC, the Portuguese National Centre for Consumer Arbitration (www.cniacc.pt). More information is available on the Portuguese consumer portal (www.consumidor.gov.pt).
You can also use the Portuguese electronic complaints book (Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico) at www.livroreclamacoes.pt.
